weekend
It was such a gorgeous weekend! It was in the 70s on Saturday and 80 yesterday. I went to my friends house for a little party for her husband out in Marengo (about an hour away). It was really nice and it felt great to be able to be outside. Yesterday I went to church and then I took Rip to the dog park...he was having a blast running around and swimming. He loves the water (and getting muddy of course). Then I just sat outside and enjoyed the weather yesterday afternoon. Grant was in WI watching the NFL draft with his buddy (boring), so it was just Rip and I all weekend.
I also went to visit my friend that just had a baby a few weeks ago. The baby is adorable (Cayla) and both the mom and her and doing fine. It is kind of nice that some of my friends will have kids the same age as mine. My other friend had her baby 6 weeks early. The baby is still in the hospital being monitored but hopefully should be coming home at the end of the week. I feel bad for her, I know that it must be a let down not being able to bring your baby home and show him off, but things happen...hopefully the family will be able to pull through and everything will be ok in the end.
Ok well I should get to work...this morning is going by so S---L---O---W!
