9 month update...
6-19-08
Dalton is already seven months old, I can't believe that in another five months he will be a year old and Kaci will be four in six months. Kids grow up way too fast for me. Dalton still hasn't got any teeth and still not crawling yet but he can go from being on his belly to a sitting position and he loves to pull up on people and stand but he can't do it by himself yet. I really need to get Kaci a booster seat so that he can have her car seat because he is almost at the limit for the infant seat. We bought a pool this week; it's a 24' wide and 52" deep. I can't wait until we get it put up. I got Kaci and Dalton a little pool for them to be in while we're in the big pool and I got Dalton a little turtle float for the big pool and it has a canopy over it to keep the sun off of him. I'll post pictures soon of him in it. We built the front deck, it's 8' wide and 30' long. All we have to do to it now is put a roof over it and put rails up. I'm glad we're making progress now. And, we got a puppy today. He is half Border Collie and half Cocker Spaniel and he's white with black spots and we named him Harley. He's so cute and I'm glad Brad let us keep him. I got him the parvo shot today and now I need to get him some worm medicine.

Dalton started crawling around on Sunday night which was 6-29-08. I hope he really starts getting the hang of it. He still doesn't have and teeth yet. I had Dalton's and Kaci's pictures made last week and they turned out really well.
7-24-08
Dalton's first tooth finally popped out on July 10 and on July 20 he started pulling up on the couch and cruising. He has really stared doing a lot this past month, he's figured out how to crawl over things and he can go from crawling to sitting in a second. He'll be walking before I know it. Four more months and he'll be a year old! He loves being in the pool and Kaci does too now after figuring out how to float with her lifejacket on. She just sits in the water kicking her feet to move around since she can't touch the bottom yet. Dalton is so much fun now and Kaci loves it when he crawls after her and is chasing her around the living room. I can't wait to see what next month has in store for us!

Dalton has been crawling everywhere now and has even been cruising on the couch and such. We're going to Pigeon Forge this weekend; we've rented a cabin for two nights with Brad's sister, Mistie and her husband and kids. The cabin seems nice, it's three levels with 3 king suites and a hot tub on the deck. I'll be taking tons of pictures since this will be our first vacation together.

The trip was great, we stayed in a 3 story cabin and we had the top floor with the Jacuzzi. We mostly stayed at the cabin playing games and such but we did do some shopping at the outlet malls and we went to Bass Pro Shop for Brad. I can't wait to go back because next time we want to get out and do things instead of staying in the entire time. I'm not complaining because it was defiantly fun. Kaci had a great time too. She loved staying in the cabin and she's already saying that she wants to go back. Dalton 2nd tooth came in on 8-13-08. And on 8-16-08 a lot of crap went on between Tom and Mistie, I really hope they get their act together for the kids. Dalton weighs 20 pounds and 9 ounces and was 27 inches tall. I can't believe how much Dalton is changing in so little time.
