You know, this is NOT info I need going into '06. I'm very happy, had a good year, had a good Christmas, and now...
GOD this is going to sound so emo, and worse, so LiveJournalish...
My cat has cancer.
He's been unable to close his mouth and has been drooling and bleeding from his mouth. Turns out it's cancer. He's also anemic, and 12 years old, so any kitty chemo is out (never mind the cost, too) because he would not likely survive it. And the worst part is he seems pretty oblivious to it, he does everything the way he normally does, and still eats and plays, he just can't close his mouth (tho I think the vet did something to get him to close it).
This is so f'n depressing. I love that cat. I dare say I love him more than anyone in my family (might be a horrible thing to say, but it's true). And I can't even spend all that much time with him, cause he's at my parents. And my asshole father only complains about the cost of the biopsy, not, you know, that HIS CAT IS DYING.
So to conclude this long and whiny post, my cat is dying, I am upset, my father's a dick, this is ruining my day, Nathan Lane can stuff his head into Uma Thurman's magnificent chest all he wants but everyone knows he's gay (sorry, Producers commercial snuck in there), this is NOT leading me into a happy 2006.
But I hope the rest of you have an awesome New Years Eve, an awesome 2006, and hug your pets, dammit!
(And don't worry, I'll be back to talking about wrestling and chastising you all on your liberal tendencies in '06, I'm allowed an occasional post like this!)
