According to Monthly G Fantasy magazine December issue, Mochizuki Jun's manga "Pandora Hearts" will be animated.
Xebec to animate Jun Mochizuki's gothic action mystery manga
The Japanese TBS broadcaster's website for the anime version of Jun Mochizuki's Pandora Hearts manga has begun streaming a promotional video. The video was previously shown at last month's Comic Market 75 event in Tokyo. Takao Kato (Buso Renkin, Compiler, To Love-Ru) is directing the animators at Xebec on the project.
The gothic action mystery manga centers on Oz Bezarius, an heir to one of the four great duke houses of a fantasy land. His life changes completely at his coming-of-age ceremony when he is thrown into the Abyss prison. Then, a "Chain" creature in the form of a bloodstained black rabbit named Alice helps him escape and he gets involved in a mysterious group called Pandora. The manga has been running in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine since 2006, and the seventh compiled volumes was published last month.
