Not enjoying this

Somehow I knew this was coming. Some bit decided to get unwell Sunday and the past couple days have felt like a slow slog back up the hill. I *hate* not feeling well as it's... so... boring. Sunday night / Monday, in between no-feeling-well moments the 7th Harry Potter book was read through so no more reading material. Bored. And when you're not really feeling like sitting in front of the 'puter there's not much else to occupy time.

There are a few upsides, however.

Sat. got floor glued down in the last bedroom - just one row of cut down narrow boards + the closet left and we can start paint, then trim. Will have to rip boards to size again for the trim so will probably do enough for at least that and the sunroom. The other bedroom may get to keep the old trim. yeah. 6hrs of stand, crouch, glue, crouch, shuffle, stand, repeat reminds me I'm out of shape and not excited about laying floor anymore. Legs HURT.

The other upside (besides a crash course in getting back up to speed on proper sleeping) is rest for my right arm which has gotten worse no matter how much aspirin I take. Come Jan 1 it's back to the doc and a chiropractor for some attention. This may require more $$ spent on das bike than das John to try and correct the forearm angle as insurance doesn't cover rider fit / position (although, it should).

BTW- mental note that next Sun @ 7:21am the Winter Solstice will usher in the hard bite of winter - but at the same time begin mercifully giving back daylight in a steady dance toward warm water and sunsets late into evening. A very good reason to greet the day and smile.
