Updates: RLA and how's it going?

Am feeling dramatically better.  Today is my first day back to work, so ask me again after I sit in this damn chair for 8 hrs and then add on my 2 hrs of commute.  We'll see!

Am happy to announce that I am now the State's newest Registered Landscape Architect.  I've been going for that specific goal since 2001/2002.  It's the whole damn reason I went to grad school in the first place.  I feel like this should be more than a footnote, but at the moment there's just too much going on in our lives to commemmorate this properly.   In the meantime, I will tack a happy little RLA to my signature file, and will be content to smile about it.

Had SUCH a nice moment yesterday.  Was lying on the couch on my way to a good, solid, necessary nap when I noticed just how surrounded by cute I was.  The bunnies had just stuffed themselves silly on salad... Darwin was flopped out in the dining room in food coma, and Thumb was stretched out next to the dog working on the same thing.  The dog, not about to change his routine just because I was home in the middle of the day, was in full-on nap mode - frantically chasing dream squirrels.  I just think that's so funny.  And Baby was the most alert of all of us - bouncing around and stretching and kicking and making me giggle because I could see my belly bouncing up and down out of the corner of my eye.  Life is made of moments, and that was a great one.
