Are you KIDDING me?
So, we did Christmas tonight. Sister #2 works tomorrow, Sister #1 is unsure as to if she'll work.
Y'all. Sister #1, who usually gets me nothing, got me a KINDLE TOUCH WITH 3G. WHAT. AND a case, AND a screen protector. SRSLY. I'd asked her if I could borrow her Kindle when I went on vacation and she took that as an idea. I'm so excited. I had no clue! And then all I'd gotten her was a Blu-ray. That she loved, but still. I felt like Ryan in that episode of The Office where they had a $20 limit and then Michael got him an iPod.
An ebook reader is about the only technological thing I didn't own. (Other than a tablet, but I keep telling myself I don't need that.) I'll admit that I'd been looking at them recently. They had a giveaway for one at work, and they announced the winner at the Christmas party. I was really hopeful, and then they said the winner was a supervisor in another department named Joyce. So close!!!
Anyway, I'm really excited, and I'd already joined an ebook sharing comm in anticipation of next month, so I'm all set to go. ...maybe? We'll see. I hope I'm loading the books right.
I also got a vacuum from Sister #2. Cuz I'm always borrowing other people's vacuums. So apparently people just buy me stuff so I'll stop using theirs? Works for me!
