"Starve a snake, lose a fortune. Boy, the rich really are different, huh?"

Haven't been posting a lot. I'm super boring, yo. I was given a special project on Monday at work, manual dialing. Which, actually, I've never done before. And after 7+ years there, it's rare for me to say that. I was emailing with my boss during it, and he asked if I wanted to work early on Tuesday. I replied, "overtime or just extra hours?" ("Extra hours" would be coming in late another day to not top 40 hours.) "Whichever." So yay, got some OT in; they haven't offered that in months. (And still haven't technically, just to me.) I had a few money things hit all at once: car insurance, cat wellness plan, and my plane ticket for Comic-Con.

Then I get my holiday this week, and a few more extra hours in. Eight, hopefully. Then I can stop borrowing from my savings, which is like, my least favorite thing ever.

Other than Nazis.

I was up late on Friday, looking for something to watch, and Reptile Boy was on Oxygen. I asked myself if I really wanted to watch one of the lesser Buffy episodes. Turns out, I did. And it wasn't unpleasant. There's always a few moments in any Buffyverse ep to make it worth watching. Except for Happy Anniversary, I didn't like that one at all. Anyway, making me sad was thinking about "since then". Cordelia, Giles, and Jonathan, specifically. Poor fictional characters.

JBecky: Also, I watched a few random SVU episodes, and they had Emily Bishop as a lawyer, but then she got offed and I was sad.
abby20: aw.
JBecky: Emily Gilmore. I keep doing that. The actress is Kelly Bishop.
Abby: God, I knew exactly who you meant, too.
