The first step of my trip is dropping off Kitty at the hoosegow/boarders tonight. *sniffle* I'll be spending V-day night alone. My life partner, with whom I share my bed, having been carted off to someone else to take care of her for a week.[/dramaaaaaatic]
BTW, she's been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She was prescribed
methimazole, a generic hooman med that I picked up at my regular pharmacy. The script was issued to "Kitty" Lastname. I was highly amused and would tell the story to anyone who would listen. "She was all, 'hey, can you pick up my meds on your way to work?' And I was like, 'gurl, you need to run your own errands.' Then she said 'I don't have any money, or opposable thumbs.' So I said fine."
My question, though, remains unanswered: Can I send in her scrip receipt for FSA reimbursement? She's a dependent, albeit a naked one without a SSN. We've lived together for almost 21 years, so she would be like, totally my common-law wife about three times over by now if she were human and a dude. Though I guess we'd have some age consent issues if that were the case. At any rate, I could totally use those ten bucks back.
I'm at a loss as to what to pack for attire for my trip. I know jeans, jeans, jeans, but do I want tees or going-out shirts? Or both? Anything long-sleeved?
Kinda think not, just a light jacket. But I have a yooge suitcase, so I'm probably going to go with "all of the above". Also, we're planning to do
St. Louis Cathedral for Ash Wednesday (yes, yes, I'm not Catholic, but everyone else in my party is so I'll have help) so should I bring at least one set of fancy pants and a church-goin' shirt?
Kitty is packed, at least. She made me do that, too.
Probably my last update before I go. I still have LJ Text set up so there may be a few updates, but have a good week everyone!
