Happy birthday,
angelchicken and
eep1313! Chicago is a helluva town to have produced such lovely ladies. Eep's always trying to be sneaky, not having her birthday on her userinfo, but I gotcha.
Another Amazon sale. 40% off some FOX series. The titles I think my flist would like to know about are Firefly for 30$, Arrested Development and Wonderfalls for 24$, and Tru Calling for 36$. I'm currently pondering Murder One for 36$. Tomorrow, of course.
I had to stay home from work today. I went to Duluth with the sibs yesterday, which was fine/fun. I took Sister #2 home, we got there about 10:35.
One thing I'd asked her for was if she could look for the tape I have with the two-hour Lois & Clark pilot. That version is not on the DVDs, and I had a-hankering.
She didn't look, so I decided to while I was there. It's a rather complicated process, since my dad has literally hundreds of videotapes, stashed in five different places in the living room alone, and four others throughout the house.
I came rather close, finding the tapes with the movie pilot and the next two episodes, and one I borrowed from someone off of AOL which I was supposed to send back, but, um, never did.
No luck on the extra scenes pilot, though. Drat.
For my reward, I got a snooterful of dust, and then some, leaving me allergy-ridden and unable to go two minutes without needing a tissue.
I didn't think I'd be able to read my computer screen with my head tilted back, hence the call-in.
I realized that I haven't had a full five day work week in over a month. Two of those times was for my birthday, one was Memorial Day, but still. Not of the good.
Oooh, also. Anyone have a version of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain"? (I blame "Dick".) It's on iTunes, but I'm betting I can save myself 99 cents.
swsa is nice.
