HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COUSINJEAN!!!!!!

House was a rerun tonight, so I DVR'ed Scrubs and The Office.

"The Office" is still cribbing bits from its UK counterpart. They're kind of getting the tone, but it's less funny and more...really sad. I feel bad for the employees instead of amused by the boss' ineptitude.

Perhaps it has something to do with the woman who had a hysterectomy and an inverted vagina, and having to admit to both in front of her coworkers. So, yeah. Or maybe it's just the lack of accents. That makes everything charming.

I think I actually like their Tim better, though. No, I don't know why. And Dawn is a total Maura Tierney clone. Which just makes me antsy for NewsRadio on DVD. *points to topic while dissolving into giggles and adding set to Amazon Wishlist* (I'm very good at multi-tasking.)

Anyway, House is new next week, so whatever. I will be sad about missing Scrubs. I haaaaate the JD/Turk plot (Shut! Up! Carla!), but Dr. Cox is never not funny.

By the way, there's a new TAR on today (Wednesday), as well. Of course, it coincides with Lost. *blows kisses at Friday's ANTM rerun* Love you!

I remember when I used to not watch reality shows. That is not this day. I even use the acronyms for them in everyday talk.

I passed along all my VHSes of Angel and Buffy that I had here on to Sister #2. Buffy S7 and Angel S5 and some of S4, since I have them all on DVD. It gives me more room for my DVD cases, and I never watched the vids. (Or the DVDs. But shhhhh.)

Even so, giving the videos away still makes me sad. There are some ads that I really wish were released as extras on the DVDs. Like the "Life Serial" ad ("Buffy...the construction worker?") or the mid-show GG S1 ads ("In case you're just tuning in..."), and, of course, the 2:30 trailer for OMWF and the pre-season six "candle" ads that UPN aired for Buffy. Dude, I literally taped eight hours of UPN just to catch those last two. And catch I did! I earned them!

Hmm. I'm almost certain I had a point. Something about ridiculous empty nest syndrome from missing videotapes for its minuscule bonuses that I might or might not ever watch.

Kitty was being a douche last night. I literally came home, fed her, and went to bed. I can understand why she'd be a little annoyed, the whole "I sit around the house all day and when you finally come home you're too tired to say two words to me?" thing. But I don't agree with her choice to yowl at me, on and off, for three hours because I wouldn't hang out with her. I finally had to shut her out of my room. Which didn't stop the yowling, by the way.

Sister #2: Maybe they chose her name just for the alliteration.
Sister #2: "Kelly Clarkson Concert"
JBecky: Wow, that is possibly the most inane thing you've ever said.
JBecky: Indeed, that's ever been said on AIM. And given that it's AIM? Whoa.
Sister #2: Oh, come on, I've said plenty of things more inane than that.
