Zeta Gundam WEEKEND
Would anyone be interested in joining Bowhay and me for a marathon weekend of Zeta Gundam?
The idea would be for me to go pick him up after work on a Friday, watch 25 episodes on Saturday and 25 more on Sunday, as there are 50 total. Each episode should be 25 or 30 minutes, which clocks in at 10 - 12.5 hours per day. We'd probably start around 10 a.m. and shoot to finish around midnight and I'd probably drop Bowhay off Monday after work. Obviously there will be breaks for food and games, but primarily: GUNNNNDAMMMUUUUU. I have a spare bed and plenty of couches.
Ideally, you will have watched 'Mobile Suit Gundam' (aka 'Gundam 0079'), but anyone's welcome. If you haven't seen MSG, there are 3 movies that recap the series. It's like 6 hours of primer, but that's better than 20 hours, heh. But please don't let that stop you from joining us if you haven't seen it. There are probably summaries on the intarweb.
I'm eyeballing the weekend of February 28th, but if other people want to join and need a different weekend, that's cool. Just let me know here or via e-mail (being lj_username@gmail).
