This link is totally awesome. Someone asked a bunch of typographers (people who make fonts) for samples of their handwriting.
Hmm, that's probably a good post for Twitter. Oh well.
I have a lead on my troubles with Comcast. I added a second monitor to my computer last night and set up a test ping to google as well as a webpage showing my cable modem's statistics and my router's information. Then I played
Sins with Craiggers and Diesel. (Sins is still one of the best strategy PC games out if you ask me.)
Anyway, as if on cue, I started to experience disconnects. However, during the first one I instantly saw the cable modem's "Power Level" reading jump up from ~41 dBmV to ~57. As the disconnect reconnected, the Power Level settle back down to the low 40s. I saw disconnects with the Power Level as "low" as 46 or 47 and as high as 60. FINALLY, I have some actual data to give to Comcast! I have an appointment with a tech on Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. My guess: He won't be able to do anything for me, haha.
I'm hopeful, though... I really want to have an internet connection that doesn't suck ass for once.
Next step: Get the fish tank's temperature down. It's hovering around 84°F, which is a bit warm for fishies and corals.
