(no subject)
I just finished Breakfast of Champions, and I figured, since my Vonnegut book count was up to 4, I should give Slaughterhouse-Five another shot. I tried and failed to read it a few years back and thought it was slow to get started and too boring to commit my time to. That was before I had read any Vonnegut at all, and I think it's good that I have now read four of his other books before re-reading it. I started it last night and will finish it tonight. Still not my favorite Vonnegut by far, that title being awarded to God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater. But I am certainly seeing its merit.
