I'm surprised I'm not more wired/exhausted after staying up all night watching Firefly with Mom and my sister.  Wow, it was way more awesome than I thought it'd be (and I already thought it was going to be cool.)  Of course, now I want to watch the whole thing over again with the subtitles on so's I can tell wth they're all saying when they gabble away in Chinese.  I mean, I totally see the sense-making behind all the cultural amalgamism going on and Chinese and English being the primary (only?) languages spoken but I want to know what they're saying.

And in other, less fun news, my brother needs to learn better boundaries when it comes to what's appropriate guest-appeasement.  Yes, so he's four, soon to be five; is that too young to learn you still need to ask for things for a guest that you'd have to ask for to have yourself?  I have such a hard time knowing how much is too much to expect of a four year-old and how much is condescending underestimation of age-based ability.
