(no subject)
in case u guys where wonderin my whereabouts last night while rahul's party was goin on...i was at pinky chechi's place (formerly my old place in karama)....a family dinner which started at 21.00 and ended at 1.00...everyone from my dad's side was there....i could have gone for rahul's party and then my parents would have picked me up in time for pinky chechi's...but i decided not to...coz i didnt want any last minute confusion with my parents
st mary's style of partying= playin hip hop, heavy metal, bangra etc etc...and we dance to them...tryin to imitate anyone from famous ppl like michael jackson to some not so well known heavy metal ppl who attempt to mosh and try to break their necks headbanging :P
me family's way of partyin = gettin a bunch of mostly malayalam kareoke cds...and try your level best singing...if u cant sing along with the kareoke (or u have a phobia of the mike..eg ppl like me)...u can either dance along ; u can act as if u r drumming something ; or just listen to the music
u may think that i might have been bored to death...but it was fun:
- with the lil jokes cracked here and there among the older married cousins...sometimes it made a singer lose her/his concentration on the kareoke
- a 2 year old attempts on performing a 'circus' act...unfortunately lil lorraine couldnt cart wheel 360 degrees...she stops at 180 degrees with a leg in the air...after repeating the act for at least 5 times...she would say.."i'm tired" in malayalam....(her vocabulary is pretty good for a 2 year old...she can chit chat with my ma on the phone)
-then u have the occasional 'donkey' fight...every time i tried takin a pic of the kids...they would place the familiar v/donkey sign on each other's heads...when the see the pic on the digi camera...they get mad and jump around the bed...tryin their level best to put make the other one a donkey
- food...starters was some spicy cutlet and indian snacks such as mixture, chips. the main course consisted of appam, chappati, vegetable stew and duck curry...i thought the duck curry was beef...as the the taste was different...its hard to tell the difference coz of the preparation...desserts was ice cream and fruit salad...hmm..yum
see...spending quality time with family is fun

i wanna go watch pirates of the carribbean....can we all go out for a movie soon? just like we did with harry potter 4 in december 2005...those interested please comment...it seems weird to plan out things in this way...but i got no choice as i never see you guys online
