/ignore

For no particular reason, I was just thinking about how games like World of Warcraft have trends in user behavior. About three months ago, there sprung up this "begging" trend, where players would stand around, asking random other players for money. One little guy tailed me for a few minutes, typing "free money plz" at me every 10 seconds or so.

I put him on /ignore. Though I could still see his avatar in the game, he can't communicate with me any longer.

Then I was thinking ... I wish we had /ignore in real life.

That would be awesome.
