GhostChild Chapter I - Voodoovoco
Shin walked up to his house his head still spinning from his long day of work. He hadn't recieved a phone call from his girlfriend and he was worried. 'She sounded so scared last night, and I feel really bad about not being there for her.' he thought to himself before pulling his key and sliding it into the lock. Hearing a loud chattering noise Shin pulled back and searched his yard for the noise. To his surprise there sat Reiko hunched over, soaked to the bone just waiting for him to come home. He watched Rei turn her head her eyes meeting his.
"Reiko," he began rubbing his head. "I'm so sorry--" and before he could even finish his sentence she jumped up from her spot and into the warm and inviting arms of her lover. With smiles upon their faces Shin held her up in his arms, her soaked clothes leaving wet spots on his wool sweater.
"We're you out her all night?" asked Shin before pushing the front door open and carrying Reiko inside setting her down upon the couch.
Reiko shook her head, "No. Just a couple hours, but it felt like forever..." she said before standing back up and heading up the stairs. Leaning over the handrail she called out to him, "Wanna make some coffee?" she asked pulling her heavy body up the wooden stairwell. Upon reaching her destination Reiko pulled off her damp clothes and dried off her pale body with a soft towel, running it over and under every part of her being. 'I'm not catching a cold...' she persueded herself before ruffing up her hair underneathe the towel. Pulling on some clothes Reiko made her way towards the mirror, her eyes looking to the floor. Suddenly something caught her eye.
Following her new interest she saw it was a blue silk dress, 'How lovely..' she thought before noticing a body was inside it. Reiko met eye to eye with a blonde haired etheral woman. Gasping at the sight she stumbled back and fell on her bottom. Rei's body froze her lower lip trembling at the sight. 'No..she isn't real!' closing her eyes violently she let out a loud scream. "You aren't real! You can't be!" she hollered from the top of her lungs. Her eyes filled with warm tears as they threatened to run down her cheeks.
