Synopsis: As the band celebrates their new single "Guren" making #1 on the charts, weird, dramatic, and unexpected events occur. And the band finds love amongst each other.
Comments: (READ THIS!) There are no known pairings at the beginning of the story. Pairings shall be formed as the story progresses.
Chapter 2: The Neighbors
Kai opened a cupboard and reached for an orange plastic platter to place the fresh baked cookies in. Kai had no trouble since he was rather tall. Alas he brought it down, took it to the table and pour his delicious bake onto the platter. He took a cloth and placed it over the cookies to shield them from the cold. "There", he sighed in accomplishment. He then heard someone walking down the stairs. It was Aoi and Reita who were still half asleep. They pulled chairs out, sat on them and put their heads down trying to get a few last seconds of rest.
" Good morning sleepyheads.",said Kai to sleeping two.
"Mornin'." they both mumbled.
"Get up,go get dressed;were going out.",Kai ordered. They both got up yawned and went back upstairs to do as Kai said.
Meanwhile,Uruha was walking down the long upstairs hallway towards Ruki's room. He stopped just outside after hearing what sounded like a slight groan. He leaned his head closer placing his ear on Ruki's cold wooden golden door. Again he heard the groan. It was Ruki. Uruha; worried, reached for the knob; which was to his surprise...unlocked. "Ruki never leaves his door unlocked.", the guitarist thought. He began turning the brass knob slightly, but stopped after hearing another groan come from inside. Uruha continued turning the knob and slowly opening the door. Finally he had gotten the door open and stepped into Ruki's room that was very dim. Uruha was unable to make out the room. He began groping the walls looking for a light switch,found one and flicked it on. Ruki's room became illuminated and Uruha was now able to see. Ruki was still in bed covered from head-to-toe with his leopard print covers.
"Ruki", Uruha whispered.
"No...no..no...",groaned the vocalist.
"Ruki get up." demanded Uruha slightly raising his voice. Uruha began walking towards the foot of Ruki's bed.
"Go away.." moaned Ruki.
"Get up Ruki, don't make me get you up.",warned Uruha."Stop being lazy and get up!", Uruha yelled. No answer. The guitarist, already a bit fed up walked from the foot of the bed to the left side of the bed. He uncovered Ruki's face. To his surprise..the vocalist was still sleeping. Uruha sighed. Then all of a sudden..
Ruki began to twist and turn. "No Kyo get away from me...get away!",cried Ruki."Kyo don't touch me,get away from me!!!" he screamed again." Uruha, puzzled, gently nudged Ruki on the shoulder."AHHHH!", Ruki shrieked jumping out of the bed and falling on the floor. Uruha was somewhat startled himself, gazed down at the frightened Ruki who was sweating and hyperventilating.
"Are you okay?",asked Uruha worried. Ruki jumped into Uruha hugging him tightly.
"OMG, I had like the most scariest dream ever!",the vocalist was shuddering.
"Huh?" Uruha raised a brow.
"I dreamt that-that-Kyo from Dir-Dir-en Grey came out from my closet and like wanted to grab me!"yelled Ruki burying his face into Uruha's chest.
"Ruki, it was only a dream.", Uruha assured him while patting his back.
"But it felt so real...", Ruki hissed while letting go of Uruha.
"It's okay. Now get dressed, were going out",ordered Uruha while ruffling Ruki's hair. He then walked out and closed the door behind him. Ruki locked his door and turned to face his closet. Fear grew in his face.
He began to slowly walk towards his closet. "Kyo's not in my closet. Kyo's not in my closet." he re-assured himself. He paused for a second standing withing feet. He took a deep breath, reached for the knob, began turning it slowly. He then quickly pulled the closet door open ran and hid behind his bed. After a few seconds of silence the vocalist popped his head and peered into the closet. Ruki sighed in relief and stood up.

All were downstairs all decked up, all but Ruki who seemed to still be in his room.
"Whats taking so long?", sighed Aoi tapping his foot rapidly on the tile floor.
"Ruki! Hurry up!",cried Kai up the spiraling staircase.
"I'm coming! god!", yelled the vocalist coming down the stairs in a quick manner. "Sheesh you people are so impatient." said Ruki still putting on his blush powder.
"Okay, were all here. Lets go!",said Kai marching out the front door.
"Omg why are we like getting all fancy and stuff.We're only going next door to give the neighbors some cookies?" complained Ruki running to catch up to the others who were walking down the street.
"It's nice to make a good first impression." replied Uruha.
"I guess you're right."said Ruki scratching his head.
"Here we are." pointed Kai. The five stood in awe in front of what was the neighbor's home.
"Holy crap! Their house is huge!", exclaimed Aoi staring at the elegant white mansion with many windows and a very big black and gold gate with a golden "A" on it.
"Psssh, are you kidding me..our house is like so much bigger and cuter!" Ruki disagreed turning away and crossing his arms. Reita reached for the front gate slid it open it opened and stepped into the front yard.
"Oh wow, they sure love to garden." Kai said admiring the lush plants and flowers that covered the front yard. They stepped to the front porch, Kai in the front holding the platter while the rest stood behind him with their hands behind their backs. Kai gave a soft knock on the big white wooden door. A few minutes passed and no answer.
"Maybe they're not home?", asked Uruha.
"Doorbell..?", Ruki suggested sarcastically. Kai scanned for the doorbell.
"Ah.", Kai reached for it and pushed the button. They were astonished to hear a tune from inside.
"Hmmn..that sounds familiar.", whispered Ruki. Kai rang the doorbell again and the tune played through the house.
"Hey! I know that song!", cried Ruki.All of a sudden big door began opening. They all quickly shifted their attention to the opening door. Kai put a big smile on his face.
"Helloooooooo.....",Kai's warm greeting smile turned into an a dumbfounded expression.

Everyone stood there in front of the opened door in agape.
"What?", asked Hiroto.
"Hiroto!", cried Kai in surprise. They never thought that Alice Nine would be their neighbors!
"You guys live here?", asked Uruha puzzled.
"We just moved here not to long ago.", replied Hiroto standing in a white tank top with black sweats and barefoot.
"Thats awesome! We just moved here not to long ago as well.",Kai replied enthusiastically.
"Cool.",said Hiroto while taking a cookie and taking a bite out of it. "Mmm these are good!" cried Hiroto pleased by Kai's amazing cooking.
"Thank you, and they're for you guys." Kai laughed.
"Omg! Is Shou there!!?",Ruki asked aflame spazzing and jumping up and down.
"Yeah, he's up stairs in his room", Hiroto laughed.
"Kyya!",Ruki squealed and rushed through Hiroto and into the house faster than a speeding bullet almost knocking down the platter of cookies, and without asking permission. Reita sighed and pounded his palm on his forehead.
"Sorry about that." Kai apologized laughing embarrassingly.
"That's ok.", Hiroto giggled. They all knew that Ruki and Shou were the best of friends. "Why don't you all come in?", Hiroto asked while grabbing another cookie.
"Th-thanks.", Kai nodded. They stepped inside and Hiroto closed the door behind him as he stepped in. They stood admiring the amazing interior decorating.
Hiroto led them to the living room which was just as luxurious as the rest of the house.
"Please sit.", Hiroto pleaded with a smile pointing at the long black leather sofas facing the 40'' LCD. Hiroto took the platter of cookies from Kai and took them into the kitchen, and placed them them on counter.
"Sooo, where's everyone else?", Uruha asked. Hiroto glanced at the clock while walking back to the living room.
"I believe they're are still upstairs probably sleeping.", he laughed sitting down next to Aoi.
Meanwhile Ruki was running up and down the upstairs hallway. Looking for Shou's room. "Where are you.", he whispered eagerly. He came to a door at the end of the hallway, reached for the doorknob and found it was unlocked. He quickly opened it and barged in.. "Hey Shou!!!", the happy vocalist exclaimed. He paused bewildered to find Saga half naked. Shirtless with only a pair of jeans."Oh crap! I'm so sorry!.", cried Ruki walking out of Saga's room appalled, shutting the door behind him.
"What the hell...", Saga said confused.
All of a sudden Ruki barged in again. "What are you doing!?", Saga exclaimed annoyed quickly putting on a shirt.
"Umm where's Shou's room?", Ruki asked nervously. He knew Saga was just like Reita. Cold, and easily annoyed.
"Up the hallway to the left.", Saga replied rather annoyed.
"Thank you!", Ruki yelped.
"What ever.", Saga sighed.
"Oh by the way...nice abs.",Ruki giggled while closing the door before Saga could say anything. He went up the hallway and turned left. He came across a red door. This had to be Shou's room he just knew it. "SHOU!!", cried Ruki bursting into the room.
Shou who was sitting on his queen size bed watching t.v., startled jumped out of his bed. "Ruki wtf! You scared the crap out of me!."he cried.
"I can't believe you are my neighbor!!", squealed Ruki running up and glomping Shou.
"What?", asked Shou puzzled.
"Dude we're like neighbors! I live like next door!" replied the excited Ruki.
"Serously?!", asked Shou.
"Yes!", Ruki pointed out the window. "Thats my house."
"Wow...you are my neighbor!", Shou squealed while hugging Ruki back.
"Ruki!", they heard Uruha yell.
"Everyone else is there too!?", Shou asked excited.
"Mhm", Ruki nodded.
"Let's go!", Shou said. The two vocalists walked out of the room and down the stairs. Everyone was in the living room, conversing with one another. Ruki and Shou walked into the living room. Saga who was sitting down on the couch watching t.v. shot a glare at Ruki that made him jump.
Shou went and sat on Saga's lap. "What's up Saga-sama.", he asked while running his fingers through his hair.
"I told you not to call me that.", Saga harshly replied pushing Shou's hand away.
Ruki came and sat next to Shou and Saga. "You guys make such a cute couple.", he laughed but became quiet again after receiving another of Saga's glares. Shou laughed and threw his arms around Saga. He responded by putting his hand on Shou's thigh and his other arm around him.
Nao who was talking to Kai stood up from the stool he was sitting on. "Guys.", he said. Everyone turned their attention to him. "I'm very glad to know that the GazettE are our neighbors. We would love to invite you to our Halloween party.", Nao smiled.
"Wow that sounds nice of course we'll com-
"OMG YES!, Party!!!", Ruki interrupted Kai while highfiving Shou.
"Ofcourse we'll come.",Kai finally said.
Aoi, Reita, and Uruha stood up from the sofa. "I think it's time that we get going, we have band practice at noon." Aoi said.
"Oh thats right!", Kai snapped his finger. Ruki sighed and stood up.
"I'll cya later sweety.", he said while giving Shou a hug.
"Alright.", Shou hugged him back. Everyone said bye to each other.
"Bye.", Nao waved. "Don't forget about the party!.", he reminded.
