let me remind you that i'm 22 years old...
so get this...i broke out in hives yesterday, while BRA shopping!
out of all things.
so my roommate, rach works at victoria secret, and we get to talking the other weekend, and she agrees to help size me and figure out the best bra for my type...
so, sunday morning she tells me to come in later that day.. i ended up not eating lunch that day for whatever reason(consumed into studying)..and i just had like four cups of coffee while studying all day...so, i'm assuming that this didn't help my body out for later on that day...
so i get to victoria secret, and i was sweating horribly and had major pits b/c i was all flustered, nervous, and yada yada yada... rach ended up doing an excellent job of helping me out and making it as little awkward as possible for me...however, my body was still freaking out and i could feel my nervous sweat across my nose the whole time..after about an hour, i picked out a bra and figured out what i needed, i went to kohls where my mom got me a certificate- and i could get them for a whole lot cheaper...so i get to kohls and continued bra shopping, and my heart is still pounding, and i'm still sweating and feeling awkward...so i pick some stuff out and go into the dressing room..
it's at this point that i look in the mirror and shake my head in shame at my flushed and shiny face...THEN, i realize that below my neck from shoulder to shoulder, i'm hive-infested!!! red, bumpy, splotchy, who knows what else!!...
well, as if i wasn't in bad enough shape already, i began to hear the dressing room attendant mumbling angerly to herself, pacing the room back and forth! i was so scared that she was just going to barge into my dressing room screaming and arms flailing..(that's as far as i let my imagination go- the last thing i needed was get my hives even worse)...so i dont know if she was having a bad day, or dealt with some other issue9s), but i've never tried anything on so fast in my life!!
the story does have a happy ending however...i survived the dressing room, the hives, and the sweating, and i my yearly lingerie-outing was a major success and i go super sweet bras and undies! wooohoo for jbk!
