Monday night was some St. Valentine's Day soiree but we went for a little while and it was really lame, so then Laurie went to her residence to go to bed and Michaela and I went on the computers.
Tuesday for our workshop we were supposed to go to the beach, or to the lake, or something. But it wasn't great weather in the morning, so I guess they told the bus not to come, or something. Which sucks because it was nice in the afternoon. So we were going to play soccer baseball (nobody seemed to know that it's called California Kickball, come on people). But we ended up just ending the workshop at 2:30 instead of 3:30, so that was sweet. In the evening there was a little spectacle of the Tae Kwon Do workshop, and the two dance workshops, social and African. That was pretty cool, I wish I could've been in one of those. But nooo I had to know nothing, and be put in debutant 1, where we get to have a conversation workshop. Woo!
Wednesday for our workshop we went bowling. It was such a ghetto bowling alley. You had to write down your scores yourself, reset the pins yourself (well not actually walk down there, but press a button to reset them). We didn't even get shoes. Just went barefoot or in socks. It was fun, though. In the evening was a little play by the theatre workshop people, accompanied with music by the music workshop people. It probably would've been better if I could understand, but I could get the gyst of it. Gist? I don't have a spellchecker here. =(
Today we redo the placement exam, the exact same one we took on the first day. I just did the oral one, and I knew a lot more, but there was still lots that I didn't understand. But seeing as how that test is for the people in Perfection as well, it makes sense that I wouldn't know everything. Obviously. The oral was at 8, and I have the written at 10. Then I'll do nothing for the rest of the day. I'm going to start packing today so that I'm not doing all of it tomorrow (because my room is horrendously dirty, and it might take longer than expected). But other than that, I'll probably just sit around with Laurie and Michaela or something. In the evening we're being shown the video souvenir, so we can see if we want to buy it. I'm pretty sure I will, unless it'sl ike the crappiest thing I've ever seen in my life. Which it wouldn't be.
Then tomorrow we have our class final exam. Which I should probably study at least a little bit for, right?
In the evening we have our final banquet, which is still in French, sad. That means that if you get your third avertissement during supper, you have to leave. Which is, like, an hour or so before the contract is burned. THAT would suck. Then after the banquet.. soiree anglaise! WOO! I am so psyched. Then it's bedtime, and I'll be on the bus at 11 to go to the airport. I'm actually a little bit sad, and I definitely would love to come back here again, if I got the bursary. But I am REALLY happy and relieved to go home.
It's kind of weird to think that I spent pretty much my entire month of July here. It's already August, wow. I'm starting school again in less than a month, that's crazy.
See you all in a couple days, yay!
