I'm Such A Sucker Sometimes
So, the Sullivan/Showbread show was everything I'd hoped for. Sullivan's singer was way hot and Showbread was just amazing. They'll both be back in GR in Sept. so you know who's going. I even scored the Sullivan CD for $6 from a hot merch guy. I win. Above all, I had a great time with Manda. Even the drive there was great. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to see Adam. I understand he's busy and it was pretty last minute, but I feel like I put a lot more effort into talking to him and seeing him this summer. That's never a good feeling.
Before we left I had to go to the mall and get my check. We ran into Eric. I wish I could have stayed longer and talked to him but we were aleady running late. It was good to see him though and I hope we hang out at least once before going back to school.
Mom took Tyler and Emily to Grandma's that weekend and dad was working so it was nice to have the house quiet. Then Ty came back and decided to invite 5 of his friends over. I made a new rule that he can only have one over at a time. Omg. Too rude, too annoying, and too much of a headache.
Went to see clerks 2 w/ BJ, Manda, and Kyle. Soooo funny. BJ was afraid I'd be offended by the humor but I was dying the entire time. Manda and I even took Tyler and Alex to see it again a day or two after. I highly recommend it.
Pretty boring and typical week at work until the other day. I had to go pick up and send some faxes and ended up down at the mall office like 4 times. So there was this reeaally good looking guy working at one of those places in the middle of the hall getting people to sign up for their gym. So by my 2nd trip to the office he talked to me and asked me out. Wanna know something crazy? I gave him my number! (I have a tendency of saying I have a bf or make some excuse not to) So yeah. His name is Josh and he called me Friday and we may do something this week? Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be an asshole. He looks like the type, but I won't judge just yet.
Thursday night the family headed to Spring Lake after I got out of work. Friday we spent the day at Michigan's Adventure. It was so fun. Alex kept his promise and rode in the very front on Shivering Timbers. Supposedly he was afraid of rollercoasters so I tried to be a bad ass and make him ride it. So yeah, right before we get on I'm FREAKING OUT. Like, I didn't even want to ride it. Figures. I'm all talk. But the day was great. Everyone had fun and we went on a lot of stuff all together. The whole family. It was cute. Hot as HELL though. I didn't think it was possible, but I got even darker and sunburned on my lil nose. Went back to the house and went swimming some more. Swam again yesterday afternoon then headed to Chelsea for my cousin's wedding reception thingy. I really could have done without that car ride and the 1000000 degree weather. Ew.
I was hoping to see Viv sometime this week, but as usual our schedules clash :( Hopefully next week...
And yeah, that's about it the past 10 or so days.
