Finally feels like summer. All of the open houses and parties are over, so that's a relief. Still working a decent amount but I've also been doing pretty much everything I've wanted.
Got to see Viv last week, but under some unfortunate circumstances. There was some chaos with her dad for a minute there, but everything is looking much more positive. It's so hard when you don't live as close and when you feel like you can't do anything. I can't imagine what it's been like for her family. Love you Viv, and still praying for tu padre : )
Let's see... Hung out with Lindsay and the boys a couple times. Went to Chad's uncle's with Manda for the 4th. We went on the boat and watched fireworks on the lake, so that was fun.
This weekend the family had to be in GR for my cousin's baby's "baby naming". I guess it's the Jewish equivalent of like a baptism or something. Well, Manda and I decided to drive up separately and hang out In Lowell with Adam on Thursday night. We went to see the new Pirates at midnight. Um, I was very disappointed in the movie, but whatever. Went over to Adam's friend's house afterward and ended up spending the night there. It was so much fun. I missed him and I'm glad we got to hang out. Everything worked out perfectly.
Woke up and drove to the aunt's and then spent the afternoon on the beach in Grand Haven. Then yesterday Manda and I drove up to Whitehall to go to the beach with everyone from GV. We weren't there for long but it was nice to see everyone and hang out for a bit. Makes me jealous of everyone that lives over on that side of the state and gets to enjoy the beach whenever they want. Manda and I decided we're not going to get married until we're in our 30s and we'll live somewhere on the beach together for a few years. Can't wait.
Other than that I'm just enjoying the summer one day at a time and looking forward to moving back.
