It's been awhile since I've written in this thing and needless to say, alot has happened. Let's start out with school. My freshman year is over and I didn't end up doing as well as I hoped I would. I didn't pass Calculus so I have to take it again for a grade replacement so I can pull up my GPA. Aslo I've changed my intended major. I've decided to give up Biology and pursue a career in finace. <-- Yes I'm aware that those are not related in any way. The two reasons I did this was because I don't want to spend ten years of my life in school and I want to work at home. I want a family so I want to be home with the kids and a second income is never a bad thing so I figured a work at home mom is the best of both worlds.
Marcus and I have been together for 3 months now and it doesn't look like we're gonna' be breaking up anytime soon if we break up at all. I'm hoping we don't. We have to make it through the whole long distance relationship thing. Hopefully this will be my last semester at ECU. I should have probably put this up there with the school stuff but organization isn't one of my best skills. --> I've decided to change schools. I'm gonna' try and get into UNCC ASAP given that Charlotte is one of the best cities to get into banking.
My sister and her husband have decided that they want to relocate to NC from PA. So I spent all weekend house shopping with them. They want to move into Union County becuase of the low taxes, but becuase they're from the city I suggested that they move to Mecklenburg county inside Charlotte city limits. If they move in Union County they'll have low taxes, but he overall price of whatever house they get will be highe whereas if they move to Charlotte they'll have higher taxes but a less expensive house. That is just my opinion. Besides to look at houses, the reason my sis came down here was to pick up her son. She came down and spent a week down here 3 weeks ago and left her son with us for 2 weeks so he could go to the famimly reunion. Oh my goodness, that is one defiant child. I argued with him for 15 minutes just to get him into the shower. He's 10 and big for his age so I just can't pick him up and put him in the bathroom and lock him in there. <-- That would have been so much easier. ;-)
Also I've been sick all summer. I've got hive and a severe case of baby fever. Everyone around me is pregnant or already has babies and/or toddlers. My cousin is having twins, my other cousin is having a baby, and Marcus' mother is having a baby. I know when I go back to school I'll recover given I won't be seeing any children in the dorms or pregnant women for that matter. These hive on the other hand aren't as easy to cure. I have to wait until I go back to ECU and get a job so I can pay to go see an allergist. If I had a car I would drive the 45 min from ECU to Seymour Johnson AFB where I wouldn't have to pay. <-- Wouldn't that be nice. I just thought of something, my roomate for next year is from Goldsboro (the town the AFB is in). I wonder if I could possibly bum a ride from her.
Hmmm, I can't think of anything else to talk about so I guess I'm gonna' go now. Wishing you all the good stuff, JrMints.
