Smitten
Alright, as of Friday April 2nd I officially have a boyfriend. No, this isn't some belated April Fool's joke either, I'm telling the truth. Yeah, so Marcus and I are an item. Tee Hee Hee, I feel so unbelievably girly right now and the truth is, I kinda' like it.
Hopefully I should be heading out to Waxhaw Thursday night. I'm not sure exactly how I'm getting back, but I know that I'm going. I have to call my aunt back to see if she's going so that I can come back with her. I thought about just staying here in Greenville, but there is not way that I can go with out seeing Marcus for another week. I know that I'll get to see him the weekend after, but I wan't to see him now.
Before I can go to Waxhaw, I have a lot of stuff to finish up here. I need to finish both my Chemistry paper and my English paper. We are supposed have a visual presentation to go with our English paper. We're supposed to show part of a movie clip given that the paper is about a video that we had to watch. I got stuck with some 1940s Western on VHS. Now he said that he is gonna' have a DVD player and a computer to show the clips with. The problem is how do I get my VHS sample onto a friggin' disk. And on top of that we have to dress up for the presentation. Who the heck want's to walk around campus all gussied up and whatnot. The shoes are a killer.
Speaking of which. Marcus wants to take me shopping for a dress. I hate dresses. They are so impractical. I can't seem to remember to sit like a girl when I'm in those things. I also don't like anything that is one piece. Like overalls, when you reach up and the whole thing rides up, man that is the most irritating thing ever. I agreed to it 'cause I figured that I need to learn to be more feminine. It's time for me to grow up and shed my tomboy image once and for all.
