Don't know how many here still put together plastic models but it is one hobby that I still love as much as gaming. The problem is that I really haven't done much in the past few years. Have been considering getting back into that myself. I used to do a lot of 1/35 armour and 1/72 aircraft but I'm looking at a lot of 1/48 scale right now.

1/48th is becoming one of the best cost effective scales to model in at this time. Torren, my brother, went 1/48th with his airplane collection. The 1/35th scale (mostly the Japanese/Europe scale) and 1/32nd (the American company preferred) has become King and the price reflects that. There can be as much as a $20 difference between a plane or armor when priced between those two scales ( ... )
