Things finished for my move:
1. Visa stuff done and sent, should have visa Monday
2. Airline ticket booked
3. 3 apartments to view upon arrival
4. Horse check deposited into money market account
Things NOT done:
1. Washing clothes
2. Dry-cleaning the rest
3. Packing (HUGE undertaking!)
4. Finding a job
5. Booking a hotel/ calling Bitta
6. Convincing Ben to come up for V-day (I'll kill him if he doesn't!)
So, flight at 7:50 PM on Jan. 31, in London the following morning and should have an apt and job by the week's end. I'll be there until June 30, so come visit if you get a chance. There are some really cheap tickets right now (cuz it's low season).
