(no subject)
So... I'm not graudting. But this is good for several reasons:
1. My failing grade in calculus will not count toward my GPA unless I ask Athens Tech to send the grade to UGA (which, of course, I won't). This means that no one will ever know I took it but Athens Tech.
2. I will retake the course next summer and if I find another course I would like to take, I will be considered enrolled for the purpose of loans and will not have to pay them off for another 6 months after those courses end.
3. In addition, I can still apply to grad school. If I get accepted, that's another YEAR I don't have to pay my loans.
Now, as a finance person, I am very aware of the accruing interest but... it's better than paying it now.
In other news: Looks like Woody is probably sold. The lady is coming to get him on a two-week trial after Christmas, but she likes him a lot, so it's probably a done deal. *sigh* I'll miss him, but I also know he'll be super happy (his new home is POSH) and he'll be happy that I used to money from him to do something I want to do badly. So, yep, London here I come. Not sure of specific dates yet, but looking like Jan. 20 or so...
