Progress to and from:
Saturday, Sunday, Monday (today) - the redness on my left foot’s inside stretched from the top of my sock and right up to my toes - and has now shrunk to a round area about the size of a smallish tennis ball on my ankle. Earlier today, my infectious disease guy said I’d probably be going home tomorrow (Tuesday) - but this afternoon, a complication around - a boil on my left jaw in my beard. I’ve had *that* show up before, and the first thing I’ve found is that I have to shave off my beard and keep the external area very clean with surgical scrub. I needed a haircut and a beard trim, but nope, gotta shave it all off.
When the infectious disease guy comes by tomorrow morning, I’ll show him the thing and find out what he wants me to do…in the meantime, my face looks like so much hamburger from shaving it off. Arrrgh.
