The workmen are out in the back of the house, digging the French Drain thing for the drainage project; I hear a steady thonk-thonk-thonk (there seems to be a total of two guys to do the digging and all, and man, that’s got to be killer work by hand) and will have to go off to the pharmacy soon for Really Good Drugs and the like.

Meredith and her cousin Kailyn are taking a cooking class this week at Sur La Table; Meredith is in hog heaven with it, the little gourmand, and she was very happy with learning to do what sounds to me like Huevos Rancheros (Mexican scrambled eggs to the rest of you).    Today is supposed to be a ‘light lunch’, and I have to pick them up after going to the pharmacy and sample a couple of the goodies.

The antibiotics are really knocking the stuffing out of me; they’re dehydrating me rapidly, and I have to constantly gurgle water like I’m in the Sahara, or I’m in trouble.   Still feel like crap; can’t concentrate, and one of the side effects of one of the drugs is to give you headaches and sometimes vertigo, and I REALLY can’t handle vertigo.  You’re talking to Mr. Can’t Deal With Motion Sickness Nohow Noway here.  I’m hoping to be back at work with the home office later this week, but man, I feel like crap.

I am trying to groggily get caught up with the paperwork that was neglected, especially the bills, but it takes five times as long when you can’t think straight.
