Update:
Feeling really wretched right now again, so I’d better get this off. The tests all came back negative…but then, earlier today, as I was starting to get a high-sign to go home, the docs noticed places on my body that were red as a beet; primarily the inside of my left ankle and my right shin. Cellulitis of some sort, and they put me on clindomycin by IV for it.
As the day’s gone on, I’ve felt lousier and lousier again. Dammit. They also gave me an IVIG treatment yesterday for good measure; unlike the one I did in the clinic, I wasn’t going anywhere quick, so…
I’d have a ton of commentary on the universe around us if I felt like anything. However, I don’t have the presence of mind to do so. No flu, swine or otherwise, but I’m surprised that their tests didn’t pick up the infection. What I most fear is that the stupid foot problems have gone septic internally and will be hard to kill…dammit.
