When my ex and I bought it, it was in run-down part of the city, and Someone On LJ Now Owns It (I haven't lived there in nearly 20 years). The price was less at the time than the start price on that graph. The last purchase price is that $ sign, and it's appreciated quite a bit since then - even with the bubble bursting.
