Obama gave a fantastic speech, even for him.

Oh, I am being facetious. (I forgot to change the icon to my Muttley one. Sorry.) I was *amused* at Jindal's performance last night.

I think that Jindal's speech writers expected certain things in the speech, lots of doom and gloom, and Jindal gave it as written. Add to that the obvious straight-out BS lies in there (high speed train to Vegas) and so on, and the whole 'you're on your own, bud' message, and it was stunningly bad.

On the other hand - look, homos and Commies!
