Obama gave a fantastic speech, even for him.

Let's see, one of the greatest public speakers of the time, or the guy who everyone says sucked last night ... I dunno ... it's a hard choice.

Oh, I am being facetious. (I forgot to change the icon to my Muttley one. Sorry.) I was *amused* at Jindal's performance last night.

I think that Jindal's speech writers expected certain things in the speech, lots of doom and gloom, and Jindal gave it as written. Add to that the obvious straight-out BS lies in there (high speed train to Vegas) and so on, and the whole 'you're on your own, bud' message, and it was stunningly bad.
