Busy:
About to shut down and go off to the podiatrist’s office for another visit. The inserts are working well, but this blood blister thing is healing very slowly, and he’s watching that.
I’m being a very good boy re the feet, including last weekend.
Meredith has a killer schedule this week and is sucking us into it; skating practice late this afternoon as I type this, and then a afterschool pageantish thing where she’s supposed to be Mary Todd Lincoln and give a prepared speech. She said I could go to the thing (it’s about Illinois History) but that I could NOT enter the kids versus parents trivia contest. I think the child thinks that your humble narrator and a stuffed teddy could clean people’s clocks on history trivia.
On Thursday night, she’s in a choir concert at the Lisle High School’s auditorium, and on Sunday, Team Meredith is going off to northwest Indiana to cheer Mere on at another skating competition. (This will involve me, Susan, Mere, Marlyce, and probably a couple of old friends.) More later.
