What's happening is not Marxism. Control of the government by corporations is a crucial part of the definition of fascism. And it's not the Democrats doing it (but you knew that already).

Of course I know it's not the Democrats doing it. The corporate 'state' is linked with fascism, but it's also stictly speaking a oligocracy / plutocracy. Think the Gilded Age.
