My Ubuntu side of my main computer has not been working right since I upgraded to 8.10; there’s some sort of problem with the nvidia drivers, and it wants to drop everything down to 640 by 480. I feel like I’m running a Fisher-Price PC. Need some time to work that out.
By the way, I’m having some real problems with my server and setting up Samba so that it works properly. If anyone’s good enough to give some advice, or better yet, a tech hand (I live in the western suburbs of Chicago), I could really use it.
