We really have not heard much from down there aside of what I’ve reported here from brief messages sent up with photos attached - basically, the kids are having a phenomenally good time and if Mere is missing us much, Leigh Ann hasn’t seen it. Very active play, lots of swimming.
The photos show the kids helping Mike Harrington with a desk for Ally (who did *not* like being photographed), swimming with friends and hanging out. Leigh Ann reported that the kids tend to clam up when she comes into a room with a video camera; she guesses that Mom photographing them is no longer cool. Susan says that she thinks the twins look more alike this visit; it goes back and forth.
There were also reports of Mere crushing on a couple of boys there, including the brother of the older girl in the pictures (He’s around 13, and very smart, according to reports). Mere told Leigh Ann that she likes lots of boys…I’m in such trouble when she becomes a teenager.
The other kid in these swimming pictures is Meredith Ellen’s buddy Emily, who got along very well with Meredith Grace (which honked off Meredith Ellen somewhat, who doesn’t like Meredith Grace paying serious attention to anyone but *her*). That got straightened out pretty well…
