winter is overrated
i just had four days off work in a row, and i am sufficiently spoiled. i don't want to go back, even though i have an easy schedule this week. it's so damn cold out, suddenly, and i've lost my scarf (and can't afford another one until friday. ha! how sad. but hey, rent is paid, we have food in the house and cash to get around to work. besides, it's too cold to do anything else.)
this time of year always makes me want to move west: to LA to acquire a fabulous group of friends like on the L word (ha!), but mostly to be warm. i've never been to LA, but i love summer and the ocean. ok...so maybe i should shoot for at least a vacation. after i buy a scarf.
