what was your last epiphany?

This was the question on LJ's writer's block area...hmmm...first I had to look up epiphany, cuz I just wasn't certain...

1capitalized : January 6 observed as a church festival in commemoration of the coming of the Magi as the first manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles or in the Eastern Church in commemoration of the baptism of Christ2: an appearance or manifestation especially of a divine being3 a (1): a usually sudden manifestation or perception of the essential nature or meaning of something (2): an intuitive grasp of reality through something (as an event) usually simple and striking (3): an illuminating discovery, realization, or disclosure b: a revealing scene or moment
ok...I'm still not certain, but I'm pretty sure I can rule out the first one (what's a Magi?  isn't that the mysterious oriental dude that sold the american salesman the gremlin in a box??? or was that the gremlin before it became a gremlin?? this is getting convoluted already....sigh)   I don't recall a divine being ever showing up on my porch, manifestation or otherwise, unless you count that time the....no....wait....that was that drunk dude at the toga party.    Hmmm...an intuitive grasp of reality through something simple or striking...this may work...I had an epiphany last June...the epiphany was that I really didn't need or want to work at this one job I had endured for three years +,  and it came quite simply by them terminating me. Would this count?    An illuminating discovery...why yes, just yesterday.  Calbert & I worked past dark to button up a roof and I realized that I had both a flashlight and a headlamp in my glovebox (if that's not illuminating, what is?), I then disclosed this information to Calbert by shining them in his direction.  Last, and thank God least,  I just had a revealing scene last week when I was showering and....well, you get the gyst...
