Hi! I Still Post Things!
I have once again been ridiculously negligent in posting. This is pretty much going to be a rundown of flickr links for interesting stuff I've done in the past few months.
Italy was amazing. I probably posted way too many pictures, but everything was so cool to look at. Here's a quick rundown of what we saw in each city:
Rome - Forum and Colisseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican Museums and Sistene Chapel, Borghese Museum
Impruneta - south of Florence, homebase for most of the trip, excellent villa with pool and neighboring cat
Florence - Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Leather Working School
Wine Tours - Castello di Verrazzano, Il Palagio aka Sting's Place (yes, that Sting)
Siena - Il Palio (annual horse race dating back to the 1300s), escalators
Thursday - Lemon Museum, thermal spa with hot springs and grotto
Lucca - walled city
Concerts were a big part of August. I saw the B52s, My Chemical Romance (twice), and Patrick Stump with an amazing opener named Wynter Gordon.
I continue to perform in belly dance shows, and I went to a week long belly dance retreat in Costa Rica. 3 of us reprised our performance piece for the talent show.
