(no subject)
Just finished what I guess I'll count as the third major draft of the longest paper I've ever written... I am so ready, needless to say, for this to be over. Unfortunately, the tasks ahead include going through hundreds of blue copy slips from the library I removed too soon from my primary documents and trying to figure out which go with which so I can put box numbers and such in my footnotes. Exciting, you say? Oh yes.
Then I have to go back and revise a draft I wrote a week ago of another paper, but that just seems like a break.
Then I'm done with Yale, in the sense of still having to pack all my stuff in about a fifth of the time it took me last time (one day versus five days) to do it. And that's probably about when the break-up will sink in all over again.
For now - to the blue copy slips!
