My girlfriend is leaving tomorrow morning and while I'll see her in a few weeks for graduation, this is, however arbitrary (isn't it always?) the end of the relationship. It's hard to be grieving the loss of what we have now, and also grieving the loss of something we had before and somehow lost.

PS I tried to prove to my friend Bob that detonating nuclear weapons in Japan constituted an act of terrorism, but he just laughed at me. Being a liberal is so much harder than being a moderate.
