Is not a game a fat man should be playing. However, I did have a really enjoyable time for a coupala hours running around the HPER field playing ultimate frisbee, despite my lungs feeling like they wanted to jump outta my throat.
It was a mix-em-up game of folks all from the NC and, in the end, my team ended up in gracious defeat (5-3), but boy did we put up a good fight. Well, at least Eamonn and Amanda did.
I've really gotta get this breathing-while-moving thing down pat 'cause I suuuck at it.
And, finally, after much much time spent, I'm *almost* done and ready to upload pictures from last year's trip to the Grand Canyon North Rim and Zion National Park. Yes, the park where my poor D200 got baptized in the Virgin River while hiking the Narrows. I'm rendering that final picture now.
My D200 has since required: a new power supply, new main board, and a new shutter assembly. All said, it's gonna come in at around $5-600 bucks (they're discounting the labor 'cause it's been in the shop so long). It's still cheaper than buying a new camera, but, it's not expensive enough where I can claim it on my homeowner's policy. Very disappointing. At least I'll have my "A" camera back.
