Hot damn we made it!
We made it. 13 hours from Oceanside to Logan. Hot damn we made it. The part, the huge part, the weighty part made it. We hit a couple of snow squalls outside of Nephi and Provo that slowed us down a bit but we trucked on through. It wasn't much, but it was enough to slow down the rest of the traffic. I had no idea just how open and empty the western portion of our country is. Talk about vast tracts of beautiful open nothingness. I still, however, miss my New England trees.
Cosmos, by all accounts was a very good boy at Sandy's house which makes me very happy. Currently, however, we've no idea where he is and Sandy hasn't seen him since Saturday or so. He'll turn up, he probably just wanted to stretch his legs for a bit.
