I am completely ignorant of Buddhist teachings so something introductory might be a good way to start.

The four noble truths, and noble eightfold path are sort of where all Buddhism starts. At least from my understanding. The other topics are a little more involved, some of them very involved actually. Well so are these topics, but at least you can give them basic coverage in what would be a fairly short single "entry" in a blog.
