Eureka! J.Rai on TV!
Remember this? I was an extra in a pilot for a TV series on SciFi last spring called "Eureka." I was only on set for a day but it was a long-ass day. Anyway, if you follow the show link there you'll see if just premiered the Pilot/first episode (the series has been picked up) and you can watch the whole 2-hour (jsut over 80 mins without commercials) first episode on the show's SciFi.com website. And that's right, I'm in it.
If you check it out, about three quarters of the way through, I make my appearance. "Delta Force soldier guarding door." I'm the one on the right. Of course, you won't see me, because I'm blurry as all Hell but trust me, IT'S ME. I'm all over that warehouse/laboratory scene.
I'm actually standing at both ends of the palce simultaneously, because they shoot from either side seperately, so I moved to whatever side they needed people on. MOVIE MAGIC. Oh, you can also trust me when I say I later took out Erica Cerra, the girl playing the police deputy, for dinner and we had a great time. Oh yeah, you can trust me on that. Don't try to verify it or say anything about it to her. She'd, uh... just deny it, becuase y'know, I broke her heart and stuff. Yeah. I'd really rather not talk about it. Nice girl though. Great personality.
