neglect
So I haven't posted anything in awhile. I have neglected by blog. I'm sorry for all my fans out there! (I can count 3...*sigh*)
Anyway, I've been busy! The last week of classes last term was hectic with paper writing and then Oliver (aka The Boy King) came to visit for 4 days from Denmark and so we were doing the whole sigh-seeing thing around London and we went out to some pubs and drank a lot and he met my awesoem London friends and said he had a lot of fun with them at the pub.
And then I became the jet-setter and flew home for Christmas! It was straight to LA/Disneyland with my mom and some of her coworkers (it was meant to be me, mom, dad, and brother Michael, but dad and Michael both ended up having to work). Then back to LB for Christmas with the family. There were nearly 40 people in my parents' house Christmas Eve! It was packed! And it was nice to have so much family around :) Then the last week I was there it was tavel time again: 2 days in Santa Cruz, 2 days in SF and then flying back to London New Years Eve!
Gabe retruned to London with me and we spent NYE at Paul's house drinking and having a good time. I learned this new drinking game called 'ibble dibble' and it's really fun! I'm so bringing that one back to 'the States.' Since we've been back we've done quite a bit of site seeing in the last week. It doesn't feel like much because it's been stretched out over a week and I'm used to cramming it all into like 2 days with other people (e.g., Angela and Oliver) (but we have done all the same things). The rest of this week is going to be a little hectic for me though and I feel bad for Gabe because I have to be a bad host. I have a paper 3000 word paper due Friday and a 3500 word Research Design proposal due Monday. BUT at 8am Friday Gabe and I board the Eurostar for 'Pair-ee.' We don't return until about 10pm Monday night. Therefore I have to turn in both papers by Thursday night! I finished the 3000 word GIS essay last night, so that's good. Although I'm going to revise and edit it a few times before I turn it in on Thursday. But today I have to head to campus and begin the research on the other project. Which is terribly confusing (but we're all terribly confused, so I don't feel bad). I have to go to campus and pick up a few things and Gabe is going to go with me (once he gets out of the shower) and so that will be his tour of campus.
Did I mention I'm going to Paris for the weekend--AGAIN? haha! I love Europe.
(Even though it's going to kill me with having to turn in this paper 4 days early.)
I have some more to talk about but I want to save it for a video blog because I've been requested by at least 3 people to make more--and i haven't since freakin' Thanksgiving. Bad justin!
