>Butterflies
I love you, I hate you.
My mind is so clouded, it's driving me mad.
I couldn't just throw us away like an old crinkled up love letter.
I cherish being wrapped in your arms too much for that,
But I hate it when you treat like I'm 3 in pink overalls.
I know you want to protect me,
But why do you try to keep me like a caged bird?
It's like you don't trust me as you say you do.
That hurts me,even sometimes when you tell me you love me.
It feels like a serrated knife plunged into my heart
And you're the one twisting it.
You're pushing me away & I'm not sure if you know it.
I want to tell you, but my mouth is full of...
>Quarrel in a fairytale place
Confuse me more with your mumbled words.
Then say I just don't understand.
But you always change the story.
How could I know?
It's like reading a story while
It's still being revised.
I've become weary of all those words.
We'll never get back that way.

Hatred is like a vine slowly wrapping around a tree
And living off of off it's lifeforce.
You don't see what's really going on.
Well that's what happens when love turns to hate.
It's so slow and undetected,it's frightening.
I'd rather leave before that smothering love takes over
As a vine on a tree and wrings
My life and love from our weeping willow tree.

The twinkle in my eye that was
Once there because of you is now
Faded & in it's place a crushing
Sadness that fills my heart
With an indescribable pain that I can't
Make disappear by taking any
Kinds of drugs or drinking like you
I wish that I could go back to
That time when I was happy
With you everything seemed so right
Thoughts of true love filled my head with
An exhilerating dizziness
That blinded me like a thick fog
Around the deep pool of my thoughts
Both of us want different things now
Things have changed forever between us
Within the blink of an eye
Perhapsone day there will be one more
Flash & you will want what I want
But I can't wait around any longer
For you to hurt me once more
So in all of our confusion
Our time has passed like bolt of lightening
Through a darkened velvet sky
The finality of you not
Being mine has set in & I
Can't stand to be your good friend or your
Lover any longer since now my

Dulled by another heartbreak
