[News]6 Johnny's Juniors to Star in a Drama
Johnny's Juniors Morimoto Shintaro, Tanaka Juri, Jesse Lewis, Matsumura Hokuto, Kouchi Yuugo, and Kyomoto Taiga are going to star in a drama! Not a lot of information has been released (and furthermore the quality of scans of the original article is rather poor, making translation difficult), but it seems like it's going to be a comedy drama, the plot being that a "baka yankee" a.k.a dumb young gangster school has merged with a "bishoujo ojousama" a.k.a. beautiful princess school. The princesses will be played by members of AKB48, and the juniors will be taking on the role of the gangsters.

I am ridiculously excited for this drama! Shintaro is the only one with any real acting experience (Juri's appearance in a drama as a baby doesn't exactly count, and the other boys have only ever been in theatrical performances), but I'm sure they'll work extremely hard. Now I'm wondering who will sing the theme song. A collaboration would be cool. It'd be even better if the juniors got to sing one, either the opening or the ending theme, by themselves though.
