This is the second of the three fresh junior parts from the June 2011 issue of Wink Up. Five fresh juniors appeared in this article: Fuu Takahashi, Takuto Hayashi, Amu Haniuda, Jun Matsuda, and Ryōma Yamamoto.
Fuu Takahashi: The sempai I admire is Arashi’s Ohno-kun! I started liking him when I saw him on an episode of [Himitsu no Arashi-chan] and thought that smiling face was cute, and that his cheerful mood was nice. I’ve been learning dance since before I began participating in activities with the juniors, and I’d like to keep becoming a better dancer. The tempo of Arashi’s [A-RA-SHI] is fast, and the choreography for it is cool, so I often copy it and dance to that song. I still can’t do all of it, but someday I’d like to be able to do the whole dance.

Takuto Hayashi: The person I admire is Kis-my-ft2’s Tamamori-kun. He’s good at dancing and at acting. I got excited when I had the chance to meet him up-close on [The Shōnen Club]. It’d sure be nice if I could talk to him someday. My dream for the future is to be try out acting, so I want to somehow practice acting techniques. Another person I admire is ABC-Z’s Tsukada-kun, who is good at acrobatics! The me who sees other people in Johnny’s being good acrobats also wants to practice. I want someone to teach me.
Is it bad that I want to see Takuto with his angry/nervous expression, instead of a smile xD?
Amu Haniuda: Out of all the junior activities, the one I’m working the hardest at is dancing. Right now I’m working on Hey!Say!JUMP’s [Dreams Come True] and of course I can’t remember it immediately, so I’m practicing at home too. A little before this, I saw Yamada-kun and Chinen-kun taking a lesson, and they were so cool that all I could say was: “so cool!” I want to quickly become like all my sempai and be able to dance without making mistakes! I’ll want to do my best to improve while doing well at my studies too.
Amu Haniuda. Nickname: Amu. Birthday: November 26th, 1997, 13 years old (second year middle school student). Blood Type: A. Hometown: Tōkyō. Height: 150cm. Weight: 39.5kg. Shoe Size: 24cm. Jun Matsuda: I don’t remember who it was, but the reason I joined juniors was because I saw someone on a music program and thought: “they’re a great dancer” and then I wanted to try dancing like that too. I want to become able to be a back dancer for my sempai on a music show too! Someday, I want to become the kind of sempai who my kohai can talk to freely without being nervous.

The reason I admire him is because I think it’s amazing that his expression when he’s singing cool songs and his expression when he’s singing fun songs are so different. I’ve been learning hip-hop dance since I was a third grader in elementary school, but because the dances I do as a Johnny combine dancing and singing, they’re enjoyable in a different kind of way and are really fun. Right now I’m practicing NYC’s [Yume Tamago], and I’ve become kind of able to dance the high point of the song. Someday I want to become able to back dance for Arashi!
